Doll Identification?

I'm terrible at doll identification. I was directed here and I really hope someone can help? Both links to website for future identification and help for this doll would be nice.
Anyway, this and many other dolls have been giving me grief.

The back of her head is stamped MATTEL 1993.
She is modded onto a MTM body, but her original body:

Her body, in the back, is stamped 1999 MATTEL Inc and she is made in China.
My guess is she's a Midge or Summer. Also, I'm pretty sure she has the Lara head sculpt if that helps. Its a standard Barbie sculpt of some sort.

She might be a friend named Summer, one of my girls with similar hair was sold under that name.

I think she is Summer too. I just don't know which doll. I'm trying to find her line specifically.

Summer sculpts are stamped (c)2003. The sculpt looks like a Lara (c)1998 or a Teen Skipper/Becky (c)1995.
HERE is a good site for Barbie sculpts.

She looks like she has the Teen Skipper sculpt, probably Fashion Fever or the Non-"Happy Family" pregnant Midge doll judging from the paint style and lip sculpt. Teen Skipper tends to get confused with Lara but the lips and Skipper's slightly more rounded jaw.

I thought for sure she was this Midge doll but the lips are lighter and your doll had no jointed arms to cradle a baby.

Like I can't imagine her being released any later than 2009 due to playline Barbie basically using only three face sculpts and she's definitely not older than 2005 due to her bigger playline sized head.

If she's not Fashion Fever or Midge the best guess I have is that she was a slim box budget doll that reused a lot of elements from Mattel's more expensive lines that was sold in grocery stores back in the day, but that era is so badly documented I can't give you a precise ID.

Her being a budget doll would explain why her bend and snap knees are 3 shades lighter than the rest of her body. So, I'm going with that. Thank you!

Cheap grocery or drug store Barbie is a good idea. She might have been one of the $10 dolls in just a swimsuit and slim box. Around the turn of the century there was still Kay Be Toys who sold different price range dolls.

She's not a Generation Girl, unless she got a new body, they have elbows too.
