So obitsu and glass eyes....please help

It's been five ever since I've been into obitsu and vinyl quasi bjd dolls and I recently bought a obitsu head for a body I had laying around. I got her a faceup and everything and she's adorable however I have one major issue and one tiny one.
Major issue--the pretty 6mm eyes I got won't fit!
My doll sports a 27HD-F06W-E 27cm obitsu head which is suppose to take 6mm eyes but the eyes seem too big.
Further research brought me to a single post here where someone mentioned oval eyes don't fit in obitsus and I think these eyes might be oval. But since they were pretty and since I don't know how to tell the shape of eyes I wanted to come here first before buying new ones.
First, is there anyway to cut oval eyes so that they'll be small enough to just fit in the head? The eyes I have are glass.
Second if I can't salvage the glass eyes I have where are some places where I can get 6mm eyes that fit?
Any help would be much appreciated as I'm starting to feel like maybe I'm not cut out for this custom doll adventure lol
Oh and also if anyone has any tricks and tips on getting a loose wig to work that would be grand. The smallest wig I have is a size four and it loosely glides off this dolly's face.
