The Mod Barbie Anomolies

Postby DollyKim » Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:17 pm

After trips to the store proved fruitless in the skin matching department I ended up popping vintage *Living Barbie's head on a 90s ballet Barbie that's been hanging around. The match is pretty close and she can wear the few original Francie fashions that have found their way here. Yes, a chip is missing out of the neck, will repair that later if needed.

*Pivotal for Talking Stacey after she gets rerooted. "Let's go see the High Numbers!"

She already had the holes, the knot method worked best.

Thanks, old heads needing rerooting or TLC on Ebay and Etsy aren't that much, I lucked out on a lot of Mattel and clones from a seller having a clean out. All mine are getting modern jointed bodies because Obitsu has spoiled me.

That's not Francie that's Living Barbie with the TNT Barbie sculpt fyi. Francie has never been a redhead and had blue eyes only in her Malibu versions not her mod era stint heh.

Thanks :), helps to know, I'll correct her name. She came in a lot of Mattel and clone heads and the seller thought she was a Francie too.
