Tan Female Dolls Recommendations?

I've been thinking about expanding my 1/6th collection again, but this time I kind of want to diversify the crew a bit, so I'm looking into adding some female dolls. XD

I'm looking for a tan female doll that doesn't look dainty, which is why Obitsu won't be an option here. I tend to play with my collection a lot, too, so she'd have to be able to withstand that as well.

So far, two that I sort of like are the BBi Perfect Body Hispanic version and the tan Otaku body? I have no experience with them, so I'd like to get some advice and recommendations before dropping any money on them. =D

While the Otaku is arguably more aesthetically pleasing, Triad bodies seem to be plagued with quality control issues. I know that they made some materials improvements after the first batch of Otaku bodies but problems keep cropping up in the other releases. Also, I don't know whether the fixes to the Otaku actually improved them.

I've had the BBI PB Hispanic figure for the last two or three years (whenever Emory carried them) and have never had any issues with it. In fact, I have PBs going back to their first release and they've all held up quite well after nearly a decade. My only complaint about the PB is that they're just kinda "blah" to me. This is totally subjective, of course, and I can't entirely quantify my vague sense of indifference to them.

If I had to pick one, it would be the Perfect Body. In fact, while I have most of the carded PBs, I've never bought an Otaku or any other Triad body.

Oh, and here's a couple of photos I did for a comparison thread over at OSW a while back. First edition Hispanic PB (they changed the paint a bit for the second batch) and my usual combination of the Obitsu head on the 27 cm SB-2 body.

I kinda regret not getting those bodies when Emory had them in since I recently found a Kenner Dusty doll and her poor body is melting anything I put on her, and DollsAhoy suggested getting a tan-ish CY girl proportioned body....

My only real complaint with Cy Girls aesthetically is those ankle joints....

Them cy girls are awesome. Just don't treat them like they're an invincible Obitsu and make them fly off the table too often, mine broke her waist and replacements aren't easy to hunt(short of TTL which is do-able). I saw Otakus, alphas and the recent Eva but they don't quite attract me (I should look at the body not the face)

My tan hispanic is still sitting around at home with no character to instill in her. On the other hand there's also the Hot toys Cuban and Caucasian(aka beach bunny who is tanned and not fair like her ad cracks her up to be). There's also Lady Chacha of Hot toys who looks like light brown to me. I've been hunting for a light orange tan PB type.

The hot toy babe review on my blog since I can't rememeber which version of 13 doll it was on

If Obitsu ever make Amazonian babes. I'll definitely convert the rest of my gals

I bought the tan Otaku girl for a commission and while I liked her pretty face (usually I'm not liking the non Volks/Obitsu girls harsher looks) her body was really poorly made. In fact, as soon as I removed her from the package, and tried to see if her feet were jointed (as they had joints) I discovered to my horror, they were not though they were 'separate' and one broke right off!! I had to replace it as she broke within 3 minutes of opening. Then, her poseability really isn't anything to write home about. The joints are 'there' but they don't work! The ankle joints are stationary (non moving) and the whole thing is kind of 'clumsy'. The feel is lovely, very VERY heavy and almost realistic feel to the skin, but the jointing is just not there. I think I'd get her again if I needed a doll that wasn't really going to be played or posed much, but just displayed. (Since I do like her face sculpt a LOT)

Here are a few pictures of her. (I think she's a character from a video game. Her name was 'Vanessa Lewis' but the person who bought her didn't really tell me which game/series. ^^;;)

VANESSA!!!!!!!!! <3 You actually made a Virtual Fighter doll. <3

Almost forgot to add. There's light brown tanBorg Julia(aka Angelina Jolie) and light tan version of Rossana (she has a pale version) from ZC girl series that's slightly tanned. as well as alightly tanned body from ZC girl

i forgot to try out the ZC body on my obitsu and volks Neo Goh before plonking the head on this one.

Out of curiosity, where do you purchase ZC GIrls in the US? Does anyone actually sell them in the US? My Google-Fu seems to be failing me.

Also, no site has measurements for those girls, not even the company site.
