I found this doll at a yard sale and I took her home. Now I wonder what should I do with her. I know she needs a new body as her current one can't pose for beans but what should I do for her face?

Hey, a What's Her Face! I used to play with these with my sister. They came with markers that you drew the face on with, that washed off with water. Did the doll happen to come with the markers? A couple of weeks ago I found me and my sister's and was surprised that I was able to wash off the face that had been on for at least 6 years without stains! The markers weren't dried out either, so I drew a new face.
Otherwise, I'd just try painting a cute, simplistic face. The lack of facial features is a bit limiting.

It seems perfect for painting an anime face, complete with funky little nose.

I was actually thinking along the lines of an anime style face. I know that blank heads can be bought for Obitsus but how do people get such perfectly symmetrical faces on them?

Because her face is so smooth, you could pull a string across her face to measure out where her features should go. I usually draw little lines with a regular mechanical pencil to mark where the ends of the eyes and brows should be before I paint.

As soon as I saw her, I thought Anime. What a great find.
