1999 VOLKS Ultimate Figure Series Character Doll from the classic Kosuke Fujishima Manga/Anime series,

I still kind of boggle over the fact that instead of improving their 1/6th scale dolls, Volks just discontinued them.

indeed, these companies can be rather scatterbrained much of the time.

for example, VOLKS had initially established their "Dollfie" branding, some time around the late-90's/early-00's, for their 1/6 UFS doll line, of all the things;

Yup. I can remember when Dolfie were little plastic dollies, and eagerly accepted on the forum I don't name. Then came "Super Dolfie", and the doll world got hit hard by dolly bigots.
