Amy and the (wrong) Doctor

My two birthday dolls, Amy and the Tenth Doctor. An odd combination, yes, but Ten is my doctor, and Amy looks too much like the w-01 head to pass up.

The pictures are awful, but they're really cute in person!

Amy with her ring. You can just barely see her ring. She is very put out that not only did I get the wrong Doctor, I haven't got Rory either. I have a feeling she will be one of my more demanding girls...

I'm still not pleased with the Doctor's hair. >_> And I've learned that Neo Gohs are nigh-impossible to dress, because they're too skinny for Ken clothes but too tall and manly for Barbie clothes. I kinda want to find one of the Ten action figures (the set with the suit) but the only ones I can find in stock are the space suit ones. Do they come with sonic screwdrivers? Either way, it looks like I'll have to find 1/6th scale pinstripes somewhere...

Amy is cute, from what I can tell ;)

At least your Doctor has real hair, still a good job on them :)

Mismatched, maybe-but still very cute. And yes, your Amy will bug you until you have 'her boys'.(at least, mine does) :)

Unfortunately, the space suited Ten does not have a sonic screwdriver. And the pinstriped suit is made for a slightly chunky body-a body that's appropriately sized for Ten will be swimming in that suit.

Is the suit body the same as the space suit body? Making a Sonic Screwdriver that size wouldn't be hard.

Working from scratch I'd say use an Obitsu Slim for David Tennant, the Obitsu M heads will fit. A Goh would work well for many of the others. My guys are a mixed batch of mostly DMLs and Dragons, the only full time Doctor outside of the space suit Ten is Eight on a Dragon Neo Adam body but he has problems wearing shirts anyway.

It's a pity about the suit; it might still stay on, but I doubt it would fit. So far I'm stuck with one-piece Ken outfits; I managed to find most of a tuxedo, which is at least a little more in-character for him.

I might switch to a Slim in the future, if I ever follow through with my vague plans for a Chuck Bartowski, who'll need the extra height. I originally wanted an EB-N for the Doctor, but Volks is all out of stock in anything but tan, and I did want to get a Goh sometime.

The N wouldn't have worked, they're too thin and shorter than the Goh.

Eh, most of my guys are unusually skinny anyways, and I feel like the Goh is a little too tall (or more accurately, that the 27cm girl is a little too short for Amy).

Karen Gillan is 5'11', so the 27 is just a smidge short-problem with the Obitsu girls is that they have very petite frames. Karen's hardly a big girl, but a dainty 27cm body is a little fine of build to match her. That's why my Amy ended up with the hybrid Barbie/Obitsu Slim body, because most dolls/femfigs either have the height or the build.
Spacesuited Ten and Pinstripe have the same body, the only difference being that Spacesuit doesn't have proper hands.
(I really hope you do the Chuck doll! My husband is a major fan of the show and would love seeing one.)
