Christmas time usually means that the entire stretch of the shopping district is all deck up. And half my dolls went out with my doll group for the later part of the shoot (a few overlapping pics). Team Vocaloid were chosen to take on this shoot on account of their colorfulness

Starting point

The 'house' theme display thats pretty much traditional for this one mall. In the evening they would have fake snow....

watching one of the group members rehearse for the Christmas jazz performance. I believe some of you might remember this place

Omake. The one MDD that was riding on the backpack of one the guys (slotted into said pack's strap). Her owner and at least 2 guys at any one time were keeping an eye on her. I'm the one with the point and shoot camera

I love how on some of the first ones they almost look in scale with the street. :D

lol.
- Hold doll with one hand or place doll on whatever there is that available for standing.
- check relative distance of doll against whatever it is you intend to shoot
- shoot

After a while you get used to it

Oh wow, I love Obi-chun in her street clothes! Again, you've managed to post another really great set of photos.
While I haven't had time to look at all of 'em, this is one of my favorites so far:

A somewhat closer version of one posted above.

I've got to ask though, does it seem strange to see all these "traditional" Christmas decorations (fake snow, evergreens, etc.) in a place that has a tropical climate and is just a few degrees north of the Equator?

So did they "tweet" their fans to let them know about the impromptu concert? :D

I guess I gotten used to it by now. For folks on this side the whole winter thing would probably be considered as part of the Christmas atmosphere

As for the closer lighting pic, I changed it in. seems to have gotten left out when i was moving files around
