I have seen the Moxie Teenz and large BFC Ink dolls in stores and have been wondering about them lately. Mostly wondering what kind of hybrids they would make with Dal/Pullip/Blythe heads. I know Dal's head is smaller than Pullip/Blythe's so she might be too small for a BFC Ink body. I don't want to spend on a Dal and/or a Pullip and/or a Blythe head and then find it looks bad. I would really like to see pictures from someone who has both on hand who might not be afraid to mix them up.
Most of it will depend on the size of the neck joint. My Blythe has a very small neck sized for a 1/6 body. Did see pics of a Pullip/Obitsu 60 that looked nice.
Blythe on Moxie Teenz, good fit, good look. My Blythe has a CoolCat dome on her
She looks cool like that. Still big headed, but with a larger body to dress. Susan

Looking at Bythe there's only so much of the neck that can be made bigger without getting in to structure and design problems, there isn't much of a chin and there's posts and screw holes that hold her together. From what I've seen of the bigger BFInk dolls Blythe wouldn't work with them. Blythe's meant to go on something with slender neck and I think theirs are just too big, to carve a hole big enough you might loose her mouth. A cheap way to practice would be a Basak or other Blythe clone.
The Moxie Teenz is a nice posable doll for this size range, the skin tones match and the look is nice. The only drawback is she's top heavy and has trouble standing on jointed knees. That's why Freaky Frieda is on a body with click knees. The MT look is tempting however.
From the looks of the original body, Pullip's neck hole seems to be probably the same size as Blythe's. Of course if the inside of Blythe's head is drastically different from Pullip's than I guess it can't be done with Blythe. But maybe Pullip would be a good head donor for them.
I finally saw a jointed BFInk doll her neck looks almost small enough but the body is very child like and I get the sense a Blythe head wouldn't look quite right. Their heads look like the American Girls which are bigger and a different shape. It would be good for a kid. For a grown collector an Obitsu is a better bigger doll.
I don't think the body is very childlike, its the American Girl-esque head that makes the doll look so. I am surprised they haven't done a "Big Bratz" using this body.
