What are Kurhn dolls?
Does anyone here like them?
I'm not sure how I found them, but there are a few that have clothes I want for my "kids" but I don't want to get stuck with a dolls I don't want. (mostly because I don't know anything about them)
There are 7 dolls I want clothes from....but only 1 doll do I kindda like...would any one here like the other 6 nude dollies? 1 has a jointed body.
I won't buy'em if no one wants the nude dolls.
Also Whats a J-Doll?
Thanks

Kurhn dolls and J-dolls are a bit like barbies, give and take. I think their features are more asian-based though.

You could consider Kurhn to be the Chinese version of a Barbie doll - although I think she's a lot closer to the Japanese Jenny doll in appearance and form. I actually have one of the "premium" ones, Ming Dynasty Bride 2, I think. Their bodies aren't anything fancy - you have to like the face and the clothing
J-dolls are much higher end than the Kurhn. They have more jointed bodies and they have eye socket heads as opposed to painted on or decal eyes. They are basically a sort of fashion doll line made by Jun Planning who make the Pullip dolls. J-dolls are each themed after a famous street in some sort of major city around the world - so you might say that much of the clothing has an ethnic touch to it. They are quite pretty dolls - and I always mean to buy one, but I"m always broke when I see one I like

okay. I really like the clothing on the Kurhn dolls I'm watching, but I'm not too sure about the head and my list is going down as to the outfits I really want, if I get 6 I can get a 10% discount on price and shipping, I don't know if I can do that thou....I have several J-Dolls in my watch that are under $50 the shipping is low too. I was thinking of getting one, they look cute but I can't really tell from the pictures....

Too late haha, I'm in love. Never should have looked them up in the first place. But I already have too many dolliehs to divide my attention properly..
The main reason is the lacking funds. Hehe. I'll definitely keep these in mind. Those J-Dolls are SO up my alley..!

J-Dolls share the same body type as Pullips, so they are rather fragile. I know you can mod the older type 3 bodies to accept Obitsu arms and legs, not sure about the current type 4 body, tho. Pose-ability isn't terrific, but the photo-story obsessed collectors out there seem to make due.

Are you Ebaying the Kurhn from someone in China? Cause you can buy quite a few of them direct from this place:
http://www.chinasprout.com/shop/culture/toys/fashion They vary in price depending on the "collectable" nature of the particular doll, but don't really run much more than a comparable barbie.
