The Fairies

As I said before, I'm done with Barbies and branching off into things that look different... after these four. Here are my newest arrivals. One came last week, the other three today.
This one helped remind me that most of my collection is pretty bobble-headed. It's probably proportional to her body, but I keep thinking that her head is small. And the glitter comes off if I touch her too much.

There are no joints, but it's not like I can rebody her... but then, I did get her for the crazy glitter.
And the thing that looks like a shirt? Actually a part of the doll. It's glued on glitter.
And next...

Glee! Who I got for just under $23 on Amazon and is now up for $50. Wow. The mail wasn't very nice to her, though. The box is cracked in multiple places.

And her hair is a bit crazy. I'm not quite sure how it's going to look when I debox her.
Next is Starburst! Who was the cheapest. She gets no love, I guess.

And Lumina. I love her interesting, yet completely impractical wings.

And a comparison between the different sized heads of the dolls I had close by.

And just for fun, since I'm posting pictures: my first mod, some freckles painted onto a Sophie.


Sorry for the crappy quality. The working camera is elsewhere when there is natural light, so I get stuck trying to take pictures in the dark. :/

Those fairies are amazing. I quite like Lumina, but then again I've always loved the contrast of dark hair and pale skin.

I also like Lumina best, but that's mainly because of her facial features..! Pretty!!

I like Starburst the best 'cease red's my favorite color and that hair looks awesome. I love the freckles you did too. :)

Just seal Fairytopia's sparkly boobs and she'll shed less. Wave her back and forth and her wings flap. I've had the purple one since they came out and she lives happily with the other fairies in the living room.

Thank you very much! It took me over half an hour to get them looking right, and it's still not quite even. I'm still proud of myself to get something that looks that good, though.

I'll have to try that. I guess I'll just have to find a place to put her until I find some.

I curse the person who created these boxes. I'm deboxing Lumina now and having a horrible time with it. I'd like to get out the doll and NOT rip the box to shreds, thank you very much...
