Polar opposites!

Here are some recent face ups that I've made! They're also my first dolls ever rooted.
Ianthe - The shy one
I love her! She looks adorable in any pose. I really wanted a doll with long hair but it turns out to be a bad idea. It gets unruly so for the time being, she permanently has them up in pigtails to keep them under control.
Robin - The troublemaker
She was originally going to be a boy but there was a little mishap which involved a blow dryer. From that day onwards... I learned not to use a hair dryer for styling doll hair. It's hardly noticeable on her head but you could really feel it on the top of her head. It's a tragedy since I like the resulting smirk on her face.
After making these dolls, I've really been discouraged with rooting. I used the tutorial from http://www.puchicollective.com/tutorial ... technique/ which took me forever to finish that I think I might have started getting muscles on my fingertips!
