Dollieh Sanctuary

Hi everyone. Only because I've never ordered a doll "new" before, I was wondering if I could get an opinion on pricing here. I found a listing for a secondhand Resinsoul Ni on eBay. The bidding began at $90 (and is still there at the moment) and shipping would cost $15. The only problem with the doll is that she is a tan resin, and her hands were replaced with a color that doesn't match (since her tan ones were originally broken in shipping). Ni normally goes for $100 new, with it costing $12 extra for the tan resin.

Since I don't know how much it would cost to get her shipped to me (assuming I bought her new) from a company, I wonder what people's opinions are on the value of this doll? I have no problem with a used doll (and would in fact love to give one a second home so that I wouldn't have as many qualms about practicing on her ^.^). But I wonder if, at the end of the day, it might just make more financial sense to purchase one new to begin with?

I know this is a lot to take in (math wise). I'd appreciate the feedback!

Yah, if you are inthe U.S. do preorder. BTW, i noticed you are in NY. So am I. I'm excited someone else is in NY here. I think EAB is close by as well.

I say go with a new one rather than one with mismatched hands. Junkyspot has the fastest, cheapest shipping out there and he often does pre-orders from Bobobie/Resinsoul. I think he even has some Ni in stock, although I doubt he has the tan ones if you were wanting that skin tone. A doll with issues shouldn't cost so close to a new one.

Thanks for all the advice, everyone! I didn't realize that Junkyspot had such cheap shipping. But I definitely agree with the mismatched hands not being worth it. It especially scares me that they say you "can't notice in photos" O.O*

Yes, for such a close price, getting a new one is definitely better!

The other side, thought, if I needed her quickly, I might get the used one. But only if she didn't have mismatched hands, but......with the mismatch? And a price within $10?
