I've finally done something with my Diva. She's been stashed in the back of the cabinet because her legs were plasticizing and I thought she looked off.

So I popped her head off and dug through the body box and found a really close match. Conditioned and styled her hair...and....Tada! She looks so much better!

That old body was really making her look so triangular.

Before: (only pic I've got. xD)

I really like her, I'm going to have to get another one some time to custom.

That is much better then the old body. I think I might have to do that with some of my older barbies. What body did you use? I don't reconize the hands.

I honestly don't know. I bought it at a thrift store, It's a belly button body with jointed elbows. The legs are click.
It's like the Teen Skipper bodies that I have, except normal size with high heel feet.
It kind of looks like the pregnant midge body, except without the painted on underwear.

I would like to get a more jointed body, but for right now, it'll have to do.

Does the body have flat feet and is a bit less curvy than average Barbie? If so it came out around the turn of the century with the Generation Girl line, and a few others since. The screw in the elbow is a give away.

Nope, she's got high heel feet and is just as curvy than your standard current barbie. The original head was just a normal blond headed barbie, it's hair was crimped a bit, thats it.

It looks like the ballerina body's arms mixed with a normal belly button body that Mattel seemed so fond of in the '00s. The best one I can think of was the Happy Family series where everyone had elbows, though Mattel did use this body combo outside of that line...

Anyways, she looks fantastic! I'm not much of a fan of the old style bust and such, plus she's slightly more articulated... Though I wonder if you considered putting her on a Fashionista?
