(Also posted in the Disney Princess Limited Doll thread, but I'm so excited about her, I had to post her in her own thread, too! ^^;;)
My sister and I just finished our 'custom' Designer Princess Aurora doll, since I was unable to get the official one when disneystore.com crashed as soon as they were finally released!!!
I NEVER, NEVER like Aurora in hot pink (I try to change all my dolls to either purple or blue), so I suppose after all, I'm glad of the chance to make her as I like her best----in purples, just like the Kingdom Hearts version! Plus, I used the 25% discount coupon Disneystore.com gave to disappointed customers on the remaining 5 'Singing' Princess dolls I needed to complete my set of them! So it all worked out for the best! ^^
I am SUPER pleased with her turnout and last week, bought her a musical revolving base that plays 'Once Upon a Dream' from the 'Musical Majesty' doll on eBay. When it arrives, she'll be complete! YAY!
Anyway, here are her photos without the musical base. My sister is so amazing with outfits! I love this doll so much!!!! I'm actually glad now I wasn't able to get the official doll---I would've been too scared to change her outfit, though I really would've wanted to!! :laughs: Luckily, they used the same head molds as their playline dolls, so I just removed her original faceup, copied the designer version style faceup instead, and added the long, real eyelashes on her. Her gown is made of bridal satin with a tulle underskirt/petticoat, milliskin shiny opera length gloves, and an embroidered style belt with many faux topaz/golden teeny gems all over her belt and gathered bodice.
Hope you like her, too!! Will add more photos with the base and box as soon as they arrive!!!!
