The dolls got themselves a new place to sit around. (aka they overran my desk and got themselves evicted) We installed a shelf specifically for them lol

Mine are still sitting on the bookshelves waiting for me to get the cardboard box apartment complex assembled.

Gaaaah! You have some dolls I would have killed for at one point in time... >>

Most of my dolls are in cardboard boxes (aka storage) at the moment, so yours should feel like they're living the good life! ;D

@ djhirokun: Which blue dress? If you're talking about the darker blue that's the Sapphire Barbie I named, originality here, Saph. lol If you mean the lighter blue one being held by my winged man, that's my 27cm normal bust Obitsu Mizuki. She's my first Obitsu ever <3 Lot of history with her. Oh, and no, I wish I had made them. I'm not that skilled yet. :<

@onelilmermaid: LOL you mean the Gem Collection (I don't think that's the official name of their line, but I never remember it) dolls? Hehe, I have Diamond, Sapphire, and Ruby. I missed out on Emerald but I can get her for a decent price on ebay. Something my husband wants to do for me since he figures "wy not have the whole set"? XD I ALMOST sold them, but without the original box their value drops. For some reason. I never fully understood the whole box thing honestly.

I am so blind. I didn't even see the gal in the darker blue dress. I only saw the one in the lighter blue. Great set of dolls you have and nicely displayed.

Yep, that's them! I remember drooling over the catalogs with them in it. I wanted them sooooooo baaaaaaad! I'm starting to remember why... I've never completely understood the box thing either. I mean, my OCD side says it's not "complete" without the box, but if the doll has already been taken out, the box shouldn't make that much of a price difference.

Ah. My mother was never able to afford them, but I know she'd have got them if she could. Then I'd have been into serious doll collecting a lot earlier.
