How do you remove a broken foot peg in an Obitsu?

I accidentally broke off one of my girls' feet in a Barbie roller skate (ha ha...should've known better than to keep pulling after her foot got atuck... ) and I just ordered her some new feet, but just realized I haven't yet removed the foot peg that's still stuck in her leg. It's wedged in too deeply for tweezers...anyone remove one of these before? I searched, but couldn't find anything already in the forum about this.

Get a thick straight pin or a needle and stick it into the peg, use it to pull the broken peg out.

I've used this method several times with action figures that have interchangable hands, but the hand broke off from the peg when I tried to swap them out. Never tried it with an Obitsu (because I haven't broken one yet, LOL) but they are made from similar material so it should work.

I'm curious now. Post back if it works!

I tried, but all I succeeded in doing was pushing the peg farther in...the plastic's too hard for the needles I have at hand (which are basically just rooting needles. Tried a thumbtack, too, but that was dumb, because I ended up breaking the tip of the point off in the peg somehow. Wow, I am so amazing. >_<) I also tried to soften the plastic a bit first with hot water, but that didn't help any. I'm thinking I just need a thicker needle that's shorter than the rooting needles I have (before I break those, too...way too long) Either that, or just get a new leg part if all else fails. But there's got to be a way to get the bugger out!
I'll keep trying! Thanks, everybody!

Mircowave a cup of water and sit the leg in there and then try to get it out?

Or maybe use a dremel with a small drill bit to drill a hole in the peg? Then stick something in the drilled hole? Like a bent paperclip or a skinny crochet needle to pull it out?

Or maybe take off the knee cap piece and drill all the way through the leg and the push out the peg? I don't know if that would hurt the posing ability with it though.

I have no idea. o__o

I don't know how similar the piece is, but I've removed a broken foot peg from an Azone leg before. Just use a drill bit that is near the size of the peg and drill into it, then either use the drill bit to pull it out, or keep drilling until you've basically made a new hole.
