First Barbie Repaint

So I finished this a few days ago, but this is the first chance I've had to take pics. This is my very first Barbie repaint, and the first time I've done an "eyehole" head. I learned a lot from this, and I will have great fun taking the learned techniques to my Monster Highs. I was going for a "haughty" look, but I think she just looks....stoned. XD I may wipe and re-do her at some point, but who knows.

I think you need to show more iris, like, 3/4s of the iris? it might give her a more awake look?

She looks awesome, though I do agree that she looks somewhat stoned lol If you're having troubles capturing the "haughty" look, try making that face in the mirror. Or get someone who has the patience of a saint to "pose" for you! lol I have a twin sister so she's my built in model. Anyways, doing the face in the mirror or getting someone else to do it is what I do when I can't capture a look.

She does look kind of stoned but she's a beautiful stoner.

CREEPY EYES

And not in a good way, even though I generally adore creepy things!

I've got a Barbie lying around that I should redo. But she also needs hair since I scalped her :/
*things i should do but put off because I don't actually want to*

btw, how the heck did you do those lashes? I can never get my lashes to do that.

Combination paint, and watercolor pencils. In the future, I may stick with just the pencils.
