This Obitsu body needs more love.. I had to admit I never considered it much until I knew the head could be made clear too if the silver paint was removed! I drew a character appositely for this body and I find it I'll post my scrap too..
She's going to be a jellyfish girl named miss Cnidaria, for now I only have her shoes and today I finished sewing her clear plastic coat but she still misses a wig (that I'll have to sew too) and a face up.

This is a a pic of her with a clay armor I made with fimo (actually for another doll) took before I taking the silver off her head. She is on my glass loft with some metallic decofix as background. Some people told me she reminds them Metropolis movie.. XD

I love that metal backdrop! It is probably something really commonplace but I can't seem to place it right now. I like the way it makes your photo so dramatic.

This is a pic of a doll with clear head from which I took inspiration. Now mine has too, I'll take some pics of her aswell in those days. : ) The head, once paint is removed, is a bit more yellowish than the body but it still matches much better than the silver one in my my opinion. Also it shows some lines where the plastic change thickness (I saw a video of obitsu factory and they show how, when the head is removed from the mold the plastic inside is still liquid and it's made leak out from an hole, so the inner part of the heads frequently isn't uniform.)

Thank you. The backgound is a piece of this sheet: http://www.choiceful.com/prod_image/63941_x.jpg
It is a plastic sheet that has an adesive part, used to line inner of drawers or other surfaces, it has many different patterns I used it to make dollhouse parquet and wallpaper too XD

This is why I love Obitsu they're so versitile...I can't wait to see your girl with her clear head and face-up'd.

I love the pics you posted of that one. I really like how you can see the bubbles in the plastic...Makes me wanna pick one out as my first major customizing project for an android or other type of character like that.

That is so cool, her pink shoes almost seem to make her take on a pink hue, or maybe it's just the pink reflecting off the chrome.

I love that! Now I must have one. They'd make for a gorgeous ice fairy. Too bad there isn't a pixie head in the silver might see if I can give one pointy ears myself. What did you use to remove the silver? Acetone?

Yes that body is perfect for a ghost or an android, even if my first thought was to make an ice girl as thisstrangeforest. ^^
I took some pics while taking off the silver, I'll post them soon. To do that I used acetone free nailpolish remover as they suggest to use on vinyl. It comes off quite easily you just have to used something pointed on lips and ears.
This is an elf clear doll (but I think her head is from Volks): I like the white head but maybe it's better to spay it rather than to paint it as paint is never uniform :(

Giving her a natural skin head is going to make a creepy effect but great for a droid! I love those pics! http://www.flickr.com/photos/25824572@N ... 123588520/
*shares pics of her favorite obitsu clear dolls*

@Lamia of the Dark I rmembered to see your doll in the sactuary but I didn't remember who her owner was! I like how you put chains on her hair!

Is there anyone else that has clear obitsu dolls in the forum? :)
