She still wants me to find her a small enough Swarovsky dark ruby gem to fit on her cheek and I've been told I simply "must" do her nails to match her lips, but mostly HRH is done. We de-glittered the hair, put her on a Fashion Fever body with bendy arms, gave her a new outfit and jewelry. Then we took a few quick pics outside in the screen room. She spent pretty much the whole time bemoaning the lack of a proper setting (She positively pouted when I told her I wasn't dragging out the pro backdrops, lights, and all this time...) but we still got a few decent snaps. I think she was playing at posing like one of those old Egyptian statues, or maybe the Sphinx? I tried to explain the concept of 3D and lifelike modern posing but she just didn't get it I don't think. Either that or she simply thinks that sitting straight as a board and not smiling is regal and chic...









PS: Yes, her hair has a lot of aqua in it. That's half the reason I picked out the tinsel. I liked it. She has the nicest lips too, see? I think they're a lot like the first basics one. Some of the lips on this doll have more of a flat cocoa rose tone to them but hers are more of a metallic black cherry. Very gothic vamp...

I plan on redoing my Cleo too XD Whever you find some small Swarovsky (or otherwise) gems direct me too!

They have them at Micheal's crafts or you can buy them online at most craft type stores. You have to be careful to get the smallest size though. I had some nice ones on a roll that I got at Micheal's last month but as it turned out even they were too big. I'm going to have to take her with me and hit the wall section see what MM works for her. She won't settle for less though than the real thing, she says. If she had her way? It would be a real ruby, but Swarovsky is as far as my wallet goes, laugh.

Yeah, I liked her lips. I think that was most of the reason I got her. I'm kind of making up for not getting the Stardoll Fallen Angel when they had them, I guess. She had lips pretty much like this. If I see her again I just may go there. I hate everything else about her, body, outfit, but she does have the prettiest head...

I just had to do the Barbie body for Cleo though. Nothing else I had would fit her. The Bratz clothes, pants, did but no shirts. Barbie stuff was just too darned big. I think she looks great on this one though. I really like her this way. Her head just seems to fit so well.

Believe it or not, try the local drugstore for nail decal gemstones. They're really really tiny. Might be hard to find a red one though.

She looks very pretty, even without the tinsel. I like the body you chose for her. Nice job!
