On sale all the Stardolls for $14.99. I went there today to get something else and I found a whole bunch of them on the shelf. I had a $5 bonus gift card from buying cat litter last week and guess who was actually on the shelf for once? Yup, the red and black Fallen Angel.

There were two of them on the shelf actually but one was a sight. She had only one eye lash and her lip paint was a total disaster. The other one was however perfect and for $10 (with gift card deduction) she finally came home with me. Can't wait to rebody her and all. I have been wanting her since the very first picture of her appeared on the web.

At $23 sans bendy body I just kept telling myself "no" but at not even half that? You bet I took her adorable little vampy self home, grin. Now all I have to do is figure out what body to put her on and what outfit to put her in. I don't like her current outfit much. She'll needs a Liv Hayden I think so I will have to swap someone else off one for a while. My Disney Belle's have two, so maybe I'll put one back on a Disney non-articulated body for a while....

$10 they're very worth it, IMHO, but take a good long look before you buy. I've seen a lot of them on the shelf really messed up, paint, eyelashes, the quality control on these kind of sucks from what I've seen. I didn't realize they came with stands. The stand is pretty cool I think, good for a Barbie stand. I'm still using it with the Liv body I gave her. I put the shirt from the Generation Girl Mari/Mariko on her and some straight black leggings, black MJ shoes. Figured since they had similar paint and hair from the pics I've seen of Mari it might work well. It does. I've actually had the arty shirt for years but never did have the luck to stumble across the Mari doll so this kind of makes up for that in a way.

I'm very happy to have her. The others are nice but I can take or leave them for $20-23. This one was really special and I was almost having to force myself not to buy her off Amazon or in the store when I did see her I liked her so much. I don't have to feel guilty about doing it now, not at $10. I was actually going to reroot my extra Basics 5 Kayla to look somewhat like her at least in terms of hair style but now I guess I'll have to figure out something else to do with her. Maybe I'll root her with white streaks instead, go a bit Vampira or Elvira or something. With her looks she's definitely a Goth girl but I don't want her to look too similar to FA.

I went with two, Fallen Angel and the blonde for OCs. Ended up having them swap heads with a couple of other girls and by the time the juggling was done the Barbie heads don't look bad on the Star body.

I would recommend getting any of them or their stuff that you're interested in because they might not continue. And taking a close look for QC is a great idea.

O yeah, I just saw that sale today. I picked up the pink outfit pack ( I already had the other two). I'm still debating if i want one ( or two or...) of the dolls. I mostly want them for their clothes, so I need to check my finances and debate with myself.

I'm so-so on the clothes most of them. I kind of covet the pink sparkle shoes on the one but I don't really like her or the rest of her outfit so I'm not into making the buy there. My aunt actually just bought me the platinum blond in the Chanel type outfit and the redhead today. That completes my set as I'm not really crazy about the rest. I'm going to re-body them this afternoon. I kind of like the Chanel suit on the blond but otherwise I'm not crazy about the Stardoll outfits in general. I don't think I'm into buying the fashion packs at all. I like the one city T-shirt but other than that and those pink shoes? Not much else so far. It would have been nice to have an AA doll for the set but I really think the AA girl isn't really all that interesting. Somewhere I have an older AA Barbie doll that has a beautiful face and lashes and a really neat Mackie Barbie with a star on her face that I've wigged mod that has lashes too. I may just display them all together. I think they'd make a really nice set.

These are my 3. They're sitting on a storage crate by my bed. Bad pic, sorry. Too lazy to take out the light box and I have to clean the thing besides. (Bad kitty, slept on it and got the curtains all furry!) I've got them all on Liv bodies and in summer gear for now, though Angelique (FA) is griping that she looks totally ridiculous in a bathing suit with her pallor. I keep telling her they do have pool parties at night but I don't think she's buying it. FYI, the redhead is officially Coco and the blond is Gabrielle. These dolls they all look rather French to me for some reason so I decided that they are young models from Paris working for a famous French fashion designer...



You know I love the Stardolls on Liv bodies. They are just perfect for them. The bodies they came on are in a bag in a shoe box at the moment along with their original outfits which I bagged. There are a couple of things I kind of like, the pink jacket, the gold jacket, one pair of the shoes, but I'm not really attached to most of it. I think I am going to fix up a lot of 12" clothes to trade and put all that stuff in it. Bodies too. I can live sans most of it and I have a feeling some of you all might like what I don't so I guess I need to do that. I've got tons of extra clothes right now. Barbie size, extra MT stuff. I guess I could use a little thinning out of the extra doll stuff around here. I've been meaning to do it for a while now. Just haven't gotten around to it.

I have the Fallen Angel and blonde too, and I didn't think about Liv bodies at all.

Hayden for FA, Sophie for the blonde, Daniela for the redhead. It was a pretty close match all round actually. You know it's funny I'm not too crazy about blonds normally, but this one is really cute. They all are. I really don't care for the rest of them though and the new ones that are coming out in June, ick. I can totally skip the 4 I've seen.
