I finally got the roses and seed pearls sewn on her dress. I was hoping I'd get that done this weekend. Now to photograph her with a REAL camera and not my little Nikon that refuses to focus when using the macro option. Thankfully, I just got a box of b/w film in this weekend, too.

Really nice! Your doll is really cute. And your attention to detail, wow, very impressive. Did you make the dress? Im guessing so by mentioning the pearls and such. You did an excellent job. I really enjoyed this!

Aww you cried? Was it that hard? I can imagine, I couldn't sew like this for the life of me. It looks amazing

Oh yes. Crying and explosive language (in English AND German) is pretty normal when I sew. This is my first 1/6 dress that has a "complicated" bodice...more complicated than a strapless dress with darts in the front for the...ahem...boobage. I'm also really good for using my fingertips as pin cushions, too. Every now and then with this dress, I ended up putting the needle UNDER my fingernails. Hand sewing pearls and roses and I are NOT good friends. lol! I'm really glad you think it's amazing, though.
