Dollieh Sanctuary

Hello everyone! I'd just like to show off some of mine and my husband's work. I know that these aren't the usual fair found on this forum, but I think you all will appreciate them more than some other forums I frequent.So, hope you enjoy! Also, I have more pictures uploaded to my photobucket here. I've got a few more to come if ya'll enjoy these!

First up is Android 18 from DragonBall Z. She's alot more realistic because she is a Triad Toys Blonde Otaku headsculpt on a Sideshow body. I made the skirt (One of the first 5 things I've ever made.), and added the sleeves onto a shirt I already had. The pants are from a Haruko doll, the shoes are Medicom Edward Elric's, and the belt is an old one. She still needs a new belt, custom shoes, and her vest. And here's a reference picture:




Next up is our set of three Toynami Tenchi Muyo! dolls from the early 2000s. Tenchi Masaki is the guy, Princess Ayeka is the one with the purple hair, and Space Pirate Ryoko has blue hair. All three have repainted eyes, Ayeka is on a Sideshow body, and Ryoko is on a TTL. Also Tenchi is a farmer, who farms nothing but carrots for Ryo-Ohki, the cabbit/spaceship of Ryoko's. That's Ryo-Ohki on Tenchi's shoulder in the pic. She also has repainted eyes. I have made a new outfit for Ryoko, but no pics of it yet.
No reference pictures, but here's a shot of a Ryoko from factory. Our Tenchi and Ayeka were in worse shape (misaligned/missmatched and horrible lazy eyes).

She mostly sits in a box, though... I should let her out to terrorize my other dolls...

I have those tenchi dolls too!! the eyes always bugged me cuz they looked cross eyed for some odd reason lolI wanted to repaint them but my ma said I shouldnt since they are collectables

Aaaaah Tenchi Muyo! I love~ Tenchi! And all the girls of course, too, especially Washu lol Anyways, great dolls!

Thanks everyone! I have some more to show, but I've never actually taken pictures of them yet! Oh, and thanks for reminding me about the anime thread, maywong. I forgot about it because I haven't been able to look through most of it (dial-up internet).
To Jess and Lamia, be careful un-boxing and posing the Tenchi figures, those Toynami bodies have very fragile hips. Our Ayeka, which was new in box, was already broken at both hips when we unboxed her. Our Ryoko came to us second-hand, but one of her hips broke during shipping. That, combined with the fact we didn't really like the way the Toynami bodies look, is why both girls ended up on new bodies.
