Bratzillaz!

These lovely new girls by MGA are gorgeous! I bought two this afternoon after discovering them, Meygana and Yasmina. I noticed a few others have taken interest in them around the forum, and I thought we deserved a thread to chat about them.

I'm about to attempt boil-perming Meygana's hair to start customizing her (my attempt to brush turned into a fuzzy mess  ). She's so pretty! Her eye's especially. :)

Do you recommend them? I'm thinking of getting one, but don't want to waste my money, especially since I'm saving for a BJD.
First Resin BJD Birthdate: 8/06/12...She is now for sell. PM for Resinsoul Li (going cheap, negotiable) for sale! (Keep incase fall thru)

I just picked up Yasmina for myself because she really spoke to me, but I liked Meygana too. My local Wallys just got these in today and if they had any Sashabellas, she was gone already. If they'd had her, I might have had to buy her too.

I really don't like Yas's hair with the freaky braids, so I'm in the process of pulling them out and seeing how it looks, but I may be trying a boil perm myself! (Never tried one, but I'm willing to learn.) BTW, mine only has one earring. Is that how they come or did I get rooked?

And getting her of the box...good lord what a chore!

No all the Yasmina's come only with one earring you are not in the wrong. :D

Thanks! Now I know I picked the right doll...I love to wear 4 unmatched earrings at a time. I'm taking some pics to post shortly.

I thought I'd use thumbnail size for most of these so it wouldn't slow people down too much. (I believe if you click on them, it takes you to a bigger shot.)

Yasmina Clairvoya, fresh out of the box.

The freaky braided hairdo. 6 'tails', 4 of which are braided, 2 just coiled under the braid buns on top.

Pre-wash. Bratzilla bedhead.

Post wash. We have very hot water from the tap, so this is just a quick wash. I think I will be trying the boil perm in the future. I should probably ask Yasmina how it will turn out since she supposedly knows the future.

I really need to find her a new name. Everytime I think 'Yas,' I think of that birth control pill. Not a great name.

She looks great. I might have to get a couple of these girls >_<
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I bought a Yasmina for myself and the red headed one for a friend. (I always forget her name.) They aren't bad but definitively a sitting on my shelf kind of doll for me.

I just saw Jade, Maygana, Yasmina, and I think Cloetta at Wal-Mart today. I was amazed at how nice they looked, they were very pretty. If I wasn't saving up for Uncanny Dreams and had to spend a decent amount of money for my mother's birthday, I would have gotten one. I wanted Maygana, but my Aunt pointed out to me that there was a smudge on her lips. I'll have to keep an eye out if I get one for one that doesn't have makeup issues.
