Eye Frustration

Postby Kirahfaye » Tue Aug 07, 2012 4:01 pm

I got my Obitsu pixie head yesterday and have been trying to put the 6mm eyes in the eye wells to the point that I'm frustrated enough to want to slit the sides of the well. Is there a trick to it? I had the same problem with another Obitsu head before and I did slit the eye wells, but I'd rather not if I can help it.

Help!

I slit the wells too on my Obitsus, but I know what people here will tell you: heat up the vinyl ^^

Heat up the vinyl works but also using some good tweezers helps. My dad used pliers and he got my bitty's eyes in fine.

Slit the eyewell is my go-to tactic.

>_> I still somehow managed to have a head pop out of my hand and hit me in the face when I was trying to shove a 6mm eye into a socket, one time...

That is why I usually try when it's onto the body THEN try with the pliers...Easier that way.

I was so frustrated with my first Obitsu's eye pockets, that when I got my SECOND Obitsu, I stripped the eyewells out and jsut put the eyes in with putty
