La Dee Da dolls

I rarely ever buy dolls anymore that aren't easily customizable. I bought the one called Tylie, the Kabuki Cutie. lol! She's got a super sized head on a body that's similar in size to Monster High. Her knees are jointed but elbows, hands and feet have no joints other than at the hips and shoulders. My husband picked her out for me and I thought that was really sweet of him. She'll end up in some photos later so I'll post them here.

I wasn't very happy with the stand that she came with at all. I'll end up getting one of the stands from JS. At the moment, she's sitting happily with my Marie Pullip and little Hujoo girl on the antique dresser in the dining room.

I couldn't get her to stand for the life of me, though. I had to lean her against the prop board behind her so she wouldn't fall. Her hips are a bit stiff...but that might be from the outfit she's wearing. I have a MH outfit I'll try on her, just to see how well they can swap clothes.

I'll post more about her after I get the outfits changed out.

I saw them when I was at Walmart today, but they didn't really look that interesting to me...

I saw these at Wal-Mart as well. The head shape would be great for a NiGHTS custom, but they're just so big he wouldn't be 1/6th. Looking forward to pics of them out of the box though!

The two on the right are La Dee Da dolls. The bodies are about the same height as an Obitsu 23cm body but they aren't as skinny as the La Dee Das.

Monster High and La Dee Da can exchange some clothes. However some MH sleeves won't go over LDD hands and MH bottoms are bigger than LDD.

Real life has gotten in the way yet again. Thanks for posting. I was going to add the photos tomorrow.

Quick question, Llwynog - What's the doll with the pink hair standing between the La Dee Da and the Obitsu? She's really cute!

It's one of the Barbie A Fashion Fairytale fairies on a Monster High body with a shortened neck. The original body had almost no joints and was covered in what looked like glitter paste. :x I also picked the tinsel out of her hair.
