I've actually just begun making my own shoes. Of course, I'm still in the experimental phase, so they all look like crap. But eventually, I think I'll get the hang of it enough to make something worth showing off. C:

As someone who just spent an hour or so carving out the insides of a pair of Barbie sneakers to actually fit flat feet I second this motion.
