Disney Esmeralda Repaint- Feedback Please

Postby SavantInamorata » Wed Sep 19, 2012 1:10 pm

Ok, so I'm trying to do good OOAK repaints on barbies and Disney dolls. I recently did an Esmeralda (I know they're hard to find, this 1 was already deboxed and naked when I got it, as was the one next to it). Anyway, my phone camera is sooo terrible at getting a decent photo of the dolls' faces because of their small size. So, excuse this horrible quality. I'd just like some feedback, I hope to get good enough to sell some in the future. Thanks

The one on the left, is what an original Disney one looks like. The one on the right, I repainted.

Thanks for looking!

It looks like you did a really good job. She looks older, less naive somehow.

It looks about as good as a blurry picture can look. xD; I honestly can't give you feedback until I can see a better picture.

If you are going to do commissions or selling your work, good photos are a must. :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

-kitty- I know, this is driving me nuts, I have a few dolls I'm working on, and even if I want to sell them, I can't until I get a decent camera. We're planning to get a decent SLR camera in December, so, I guess I'll just keep practicing for now. =)
