Springs inside??

Postby Lamia of the Dark » Mon Sep 24, 2012 3:33 pm

I bought a Volks EB mini off ebay and instead of the plastic inner skeletal structure my other Volks 1/6ths have, she has metal springs through her chest/torso/waist O__O
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

You pull the spring up to hook on something in the chest to keep it together.

that's really cool! they probably changed it because of issues with the torso joints. springs probably act a lot like the elastic in a resin doll.

Yeah, exactly like that, DollyKim!

I guess the one I just got is older than the other ones I have, or something?

Maybe, my little ones have the spring in them too. I got them in early '08. My big ones (27cm) that I got the same year don't have springs. I think it is just the 21/23cm ones that have the springs.
