Freya decisions w/updated photo

Postby kenaiqueen » Tue Oct 09, 2012 6:51 pm

I got my two Freyas today and have to decide which one to keep and which set of eyes to keep. I'm leaning strongly towards keeping white Freya with the blue eyes. In the first shot, the white has the green eyes in and she's wearing a Bratzilla top and skirt. They were both a little snug and it was tough getting those sleeves over the paws.

The green eyes aren't straight green...they have a splotch of dark blue.

I like this combo the best. In any case, I'm going to call her C'mell.

Still trying to decide if I want to try to do her faceup myself or not. I don't feel very confident.

congrats. they are lovely. absolutely love the freya's. i'm hoping to snag a white on to do a snowshoe type faceup on her, but i'd also like a grey one to blush black and turn her into my luna kitty

They're both lovely...I can see how choosing would be hard.

(and +100 for the Cordwainer Smith reference. Haven't read that story in a long time :))

I've been thinking about turning gray kitty into a lilac point siamese before selling her.

+100 points for you for being the first to recognize it! :D

Love them! I just bought a grey one with green eyes. I should get her Monday. :) I'm partial to the grey with green eyes (obviously, LOL) but the white one is also darling with either eye color. I think I would just keep both.

They're both adorable in their own way. the grey one looks spunkier to me while the white one is sweeter

I also bought green eyes to match a character

If you are doing C'mell, I would definitely go with the white kitty. Did you try her in the blue/green eyes?

C'mell has the green/blue eyes in the first shot, but I really love her in the blue so I'll be keeping her in those. My DH likes the gray cat better so I may be keeping both. He was looking at my sketches of the paint jobs I'm planning and he pulled out one for C'mell and said that I had to do that one because it was the best. This is the guy who up to this point has been ignoring my doll obsession! :)

Both of the girls have acquired dresses and Bastet (gray) has a purple fur wig. Still waiting on the white wig I ordered for C'mell.

I am still looking for some sealer and will be going up to the big city in two weeks so if I can't find it there, I'll have to start shopping for a face-up artist instead of doing it myself.

The girls have wigs and dresses now and I finally got my sealer, so I'm ready to try my first face-ups. I work tomorrow, so I'l probably do that on Thursday.

The dresses are modified Barbie cheapos and I got the wigs on ebay, then cut slits for the ears.
