Changing Momo's style(help?)

Postby darkfairykara » Sun Nov 11, 2012 11:14 pm

well I finally decided to give my Momo(5stardoll Tong Tong) a new look.

this is what she looks like now:

I feel that her face up is a little to plain for me. she needs a little more oomph. solution= new face up some new clothes and a new wig.

I choose this wig, http://www.etsy.com/listing/87885088/bj ... -with-hand
a plain tee shirt, and pink leopard leggings.

for the face ups I was looking at different face ups online. I was thinking something like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/transylvan ... 865660260/
more black liner around the eyes and maybe more darker colors. not sure. still deciding. do you you guys have any ideas for the face up? oh and when she gets finished i'll post some pictures of her with her new look.

I think her current wig would look good with the darker faceup.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I think that that wig with that face up would really give her more personallity. I do think however that you might want to give her mouth a bit more color and maybe a little hint of blushing on her nose. Else she might be a bit pale around that area concidering that the rest is darker. OR leave it if thats what you think is cuter. As it is all about taste!

Are you considering other eye color too?

@Lif: those are some really good idea. I'll have to tell my friend who's gonna do the face up. and new eyes, maybe don't have money for new ones right now.

If you used the pearlescent eye shadow like this littlefee Chiwoo elf it would look really nice - especially if you picked up the hint of rose from the wig - that wig is really cute!!

You can get white pearl and mix it with the pastels, or just get the pearl color, which is easy to use. I really suggest if she doesn't have any of the pearl she should get some. A little goes a long way and it really enhances colored eyeshadow. http://www.dickblick.com/products/jacquard-pearl-ex-pigments/ I believe Kiki=chan78 uses these Pearl-ex pigments in her faceups.

Seconding the pearl ex. They really give a face-up that extra pop. I use them all the time. On natural or dark resins, I like to use the pink-gold around the eyes and on the lips. On white resin, I'll use the interference red, pearl white, or the macro pearl.
