1 year aniversary of Molly
Posted: Tue Nov 27, 2012 8:32 amIts a bit overdue but because of being busy with other things and being ill (or husband or kids being ill) I didn't have the time to make this post sooner.
8th of November 2011 I took Molly home with me from her former owner. Shes my very first BJD ever. My cutest BJD ever and at this moment my favorite BJD (but lets not say that out loud when Audrey is around XD)
This is the way she came home with me one year ago. Enormously large blue eyes a white rough wig with a spot on the back I couldn't wash out and her sleeping bag. Beanie her little sheep was already waiting for her at home.
Almost emmediatly I started working on clothes for her. And the very first chance I got I enterd in a GO for Leekworld and orderd her a new wig and some clip on hair pieces (couldn't decide between lose hair or a wig with pony tails...thought this was a nice solution to that problem).
Somewhere along that time she got her second best plush friend Wabble the walrus:
And especially for her first Dolliverse (Dutch BJD fair) and some meetings we would attend I made her a nice new dress:
After that it wasn't too long before her big(ger) friend Audrey arrived (in 2 parts, body first and later on head XD):
And after some poundering which size and which color they had to be at the second Dolliverse I got the chance of trying out some different sizes and colors of eyes for her. So Finally she got some new peepers!
And this is what she looks like today:
I am still very much in love with her and I am just SO HAPPY I pushed trough even tho my husband and sons thought it strange that I wanted a doll at my 38th birthday
