27cm resin doll question

Postby claws » Mon Dec 10, 2012 11:33 am

I just saw the new Limhwa To You dolls on JS and now I want one so bad (I haven't been active in the hobby in a long while and haven't bought a new doll in forever). They're much too expensive for me to afford right now, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other 1/6 scale dolls like this and where you can buy them. I like that they're proportioned like my 27cm Obitsus- most of the 1/6 resins I see are usually little child dolls or animals, but I'm not really interested in those right now. The Limhwas were perfect! >_< I think I finally realized that I'm more partial to 1/6 dolls- anything bigger than that tends to be too much for me. :P

Lumedoll makes both male and female 1/6 in that style. There are also the Unoa Lights - but they are hella expensive.

Dollmore has an ABS version of their doll that is a lot cheaper but still a strung ball jointed doll!

Then there's also the Planetdoll tinies:

And the Souldoll Littles, but they're hardly ever available on the second hand market.

I forgot to thank you guys for the info and links! ^^;; Thanks! These are sooo pretty. >_< I especially love the Dollmore Kidult Adela and the Soom mini Gem Aren (the one with white skin looks so cute with black hair and the kitty outfit) The ABS Dollmores are about as affordable as Volks WTG line. Hmmmm...I might be in trouble here...XD

Those Dollmore ABS dolls keep intriguing me. I just might get one at some point. I like the smaller ABS Unoas too (more affordable than the resin ones but still expensive), except they have painted faces.

Well, if GH doesn't mind my mentioning it, I have my To You Sara up for sale. I will tell you, that while their proportions and sculpt are fabulously realistic and they are so very beautiful, To You's can be a bit difficult to find clothing, wigs and shoes for. Then again, I wanted my doll to have a sophisticated look (like the Silkstone Barbie line) and that's were I ran into problems. If you want a more casual look, there are definitely more options.

So tempting...

There's also XagaDoll Lara and Illusion Spirit's fairy doll. I believe they're both sold from Mint on Card.
Notdoll, before they vanished, had Pandora/Miriam and their smaller doll (more like Barbie's little sister size) Lucy.

Personally I love 1/6 scale dolls. It's my favorite size. ^_^
