Monsters, Ghosts, and Zombies, Oh My!

Postby KC12344325 » Sun Feb 03, 2013 3:37 pm

It's been quite a while since I posted, hasn't it? ;_; I have been obsessing over Lolita and dealing with school, so I haven't been taking very many pictures of my dolls. Plus, it's freezing outside! There's practically nowhere to take photos! My house is a complete mess. @_@ Through all the chaos, I found a suitable places to take photos. All I need is to make a backdrop and I've got a little makeshift studio! :>

(Warning: very picture heavy. Some of the dolls towards the bottom of this post could be considered "scary.")

Stare down!

(Both dolls are the same height; Agatha just has tall boots. ^.^)

Take care. :3

What a cool collection of dolls you have! Your Little Apple doll is just so cute in a slightly creepy way. :D

My daughter loves the Living Dead dolls - she met the creator at DragonCon last year.

That's cool! I wanna meet Damien and Ed one day. Perhaps at a comic con or something. :U

Thank you! I agree, she's my fave Series 23 doll (though Teddy is a close second).

The Little Apple doll is wonderfully scary, and not just because of the apple with spikes! I think she's the first doll I've seen of the deliberately creepy variety that's designed without a mouth. Pretty striking effect!

Great photography! And nice dolls! That one with the spiky apple looks so real and scary!! :laughs:

And your camera is just great---may I ask what brand and model it is? I've been looking for a good camera and I love your photos quality!

Thank you! Animula is definitely quite photogenic. (She's a Little Apple Doll BTW.)

I use a Canon Rebel T3i, default settings (sans flash, because flash is a no-no). I'm trying to figure out how to use more "manual" settings, but DSLR is sort of confusing! :)

Anywho, two more dollies! Camilla (right) is fairly new. Catrina was my second Living Dead Doll. They are both from Series 20.
