Articulated 1/6 male body - Steffi Love's boyfriend (pics)

I've never really been interested in Steffi Love dolls, but as I did some googling trying to identify my mystery doll I discovered Steffi has a boyfriend - with articulation! I thought he was a pretty good find, particularly since I can't find the good Fashionistas bodies anymore and this guy was a bit cheaper, too.

His name is Kevin, the articulated version is called Cool Kevin. He's not perfect but surprisingly good for a cheap doll.





It looks like they mixed Fashionistas Ken with Liv: he's got elbows, wrists, a Liv style waist, swivel knees, and hinged ankles.

I'd never seen him before, but I was pleasantly surprised so I thought it was worth sharing.

It is a weird mix because here's the Liv guy http://dolfielittles.com/spin/livb1.jpg and here's the closest Ken http://dolfielittles.com/ken/090.jpg but the feet are different. His face almost looks like a Power Team Elite with someone else's hair.

Yeah, he's an odd mix'n'match... actually, I have an Action Man with a head that looks a lot like him.
The new articulated Steffi Love is half Fashionistas/half Liv too.

How is his skin tone? I'm always on the lookout for a lighter than Fashionista Ken 1/6 articulated body.

He's really orange-pink, unfortunately... There is a trendy goth version that seems to be paler, but I haven't seen it IRL so can't be sure. Also that one has a huge tribal tattoo.

ETA: I think this is a repainted Ken head on the paler Kevin body: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hadirouh/8440312671/ Still a bit too pink, but might work (as long as you're okay with no up-down articulation in the neck).

I was not necessarily talking about a goth pale (tho that would be nice) but more along the lines of something closer to MT Gavin's head. The body I have him on now (Young Sweethearts Michael) is close but not perfect.

It doesn't seem to be that pale, just a bit paler and more of a neutral hue than the version I have, and more likely to match other dolls. It's just an educated guess, though, since I don't have either "goth" Kevin or MT Gavin. Young Sweethearts Michael definitely seems to be a better body in general though, so it may not be worth it.
