My new Obitsu! This wasn't the intended girl for this body, but the head we bought didn't work out. So, as I was going through the giant bag of clothes, to see what would fit her, I ended up putting her in Mamimi's clothes. I couldn't believe how well they fit. So... We had to track down a new Mamimi head (I'm in the process of rerooting our first one for a different character). I've always loved FLCL ever since I first saw it on Adult Swim, and I was so excited to find out about the Takara dolls, though I was so disappointed with their articulation. I was thrilled to see how well they work out on Obitsus.
Haruko is now demanding a body (and a scooter ), but she will be sharing with Mamimi until I can get more (The makings of a 'Bitsu Army!).
She got a new face-up by my Hubby, 'cause the factory look just wasn't Mamimi. Now she looks much better! (Pardon the messy hair!)



If you look close in the last picture, you can kinda see her stand is labeled. I was so surprised about that, the person we bought her from made it for her like that! So sweet! And now I love Kaiser stands!

Obitsu are like that - lots of fun, and you always need more!

I umpteen all the good things about Obitsus. Head over to Junky Spot, the hardest choice is with or without magnets. I have the pink haired girl on a Barbie pivotal body but I've never seen the show. At first I thought your pictures were of a Takara Jenny, those heads are easy enough to find if she needs more friends.

As for a scooter Barbie is always making them and there was a recent Monster High Ghoulia with one. Check model cars too as there are occasional 1/6 scale vehicles.
