New Scooby gang? *14 pics*

Lols yeah, I've been watching too much Buffy for my own good.
Since I recently decided to get back into the hobby, I thought I needed a grounded group of dolls to base my other dolls off. Course I didn't wanna lock myself into any set universe so lately I've just been making a buncha dolls with completely.... experimental approaches to them.
Anywho, I have been rearranging my doll shelf every night and letting the dolls gravitate to whatever doll they seem to match with. It's a great relaxer after a stressful day of school and lets my brain mellow out.
So yeah, here is my geyser of fun.
Here be my childhood Action Man Doll upon a fashion royalty homme body. Funny, none of my other dolls really survived childhood due to hair loss and.... sharpie faceups amidst other horrors. But something about Action Man told me to leave him be.
I disliked the steroid filled body action man had so, yeah. And my fashion royalty guy had the STUPIDEST HAIRSTYLE in the world which I could not get rid of, short of gluing it down <_< So I decided that hey, I like Action Man's head upon that body.
Oh yeah, I did the torso joint mod on him so now he can actually slouch and look into my other doll's eyes. Damn you fashion royalty for having Frankenstein men who can barely turn their heads.
(btw, tutorial is here)
My Barbie Basic #3 Steffie head upon a Liv body.
I was underwhelmed by the Barbie Basics except the Steffie mold and the psychotic little grinny blonde, but alas the only fashionista matched the blonde. And I didn't lust for her as much as Steffie :/ So when I found out the Liv girls came in colours other than the Fashionista line, I got one and this steffie. So yeah.
Okay so it doesn't match in this lighting cuz LIV bodies are grey as all get out, but it's a bit chunkier than an Obitsu and actually has wrists/knees/joints in general.
Though I'm completely annoyed by her fringe of doom and the sparkly paint under her eyelids, but meh. I can live with what she's got until I can be bothered repainting her and rerooting that fringe.
Okay so the match is closer here.
Also, here is my Ken + jointed body hybrid/repaint.
I actually quite hate this head for looking like an underaged twat and rage at what mattel was thinking this would be a good sculpt for a "New Improved Ken" in 2007.
But, I found it was a pretty close match to a Matt Smith sculpt from Doctor Who so this doll is just an experiment in if I can do a slightly resemble-y match to Matt Smith. Either way, he's cute.
Also, I loathe ken bodies so I'm replacing his with a normal male obitsu.
My Cali 'Girl' Blaine upon a Power Team body. I painted his eyes blue and gave him freckles.
Btw, he still smells like coconuts. Also, his hands are held on by tape <_< WHERE ON EARTH DID HIS BARE HANDS GO? O_o;
My power Team guy with Obitsu grip hands. Temporary thing until I get some bare Power Team hands. Lols, quite sad he's the only DECENT looking asian guy in my collection :/
In my head, best couple ever.
I would love to give him wrists but... green dolls are kinda not ordinary.
Hmmm, I may flock his head... But it's growing on me, his baldness.
So yeah, these are my little grounded gang of scoobies. xD
