Had no idea these even existed until I stumbled across them tonight. About the size of what, a Pullip?

As does the other half (aka The Yeti). Well, we've actually got 4 between us. At the moment.

They're about 9 1/2"/24cm - so a little bit shorter than a Pullip. Someone whose blog I follow has this pic of one next to a Blythe (I don't think I know anyone who has Makies and Pullips) - clicking the pic takes you to her blog, which has quite a few Makie pics on it.

Their joints - especially the feet - can get a bit loose, and the dyeing on the coloured ones isn't as smooth as, say, coloured resin. But they have loads of character. Clothes wise - they can wear some Blythe and Barbie (Barbie trousers will be too long) clothes, but their bodies are a bit wider.

Some of my pics are here, on my sadly infrequently updated Tumblr

That looks pretty cool, and a lot like something I've thought of doing if/when I ever get a 3-d printer. XD But I doubt I'll be buying one. My wishlist is already so long I don't want to add to it right now.

Thank you for sharing that, ShortnCuddlyAm! Intriguing little ones. I do hope the company gets the fit-and-finish problems ironed out with them (new tech always takes a while).

Necro posting...

The limbs have now been completely redesigned - they look much nicer now and the reports from people who've got both types is that the new limbs pose better and seem sturdier. It's a little early to tell yet, as the new design hasn't been out long, but the pics are looking good. It also looks like there's a bit more definition on them.

I might be buying replacement legs for mine when the limbs are available separately - the new arms don't fit the older bodies; but it is the legs I'm having the most problems with.
