Due to Qrinta mentioning in another thread that they were on sale at Justice, I was able to order Apple & Raven online at a great price. (BTW, thanks Qrinta!) They arrived today and I've unboxed Apple since I like her and will be keeping her, but I'm not as sure about Raven, so she's still boxed. Here they are upon arrival:

Poor Apple's hair is quite a mess but I'm not sure about combing it too much with all those curls. The hair is very soft tho and the dress is adorable. It was fairly easy to get her out of the box without destroying it altho the usual plastic stabby things in her head were a bit of a pain. (Why the heck do they package them like that? If they are worried about floppy heads, then they are making them wrong!) I'm glad I didn't have to pay full price for them, but they were worth what I paid and I'm secretly tickled that the postage on it was twice what I paid.

I'm not sure what it is I don't like about Raven. Something to do with her eyes I think. She's just not as cute to me. I may either sell her unboxed, or nude. Not sure yet. I was hoping for some cute boys for my MH girls to steal, but the one pic I've seen (Hunter?), I really don't like his wacky hair. I could be happy just collecting their outfits.

I'm glad you were able to get them for a good price! ^_^ My Raven and Maddie arrived just before I went camping for the weekend. Maddie's hair looks like a nightmare at the moment...

Hmm... I like the looks of Raven. I'll have to see if I can find one the next time I go doll shopping. >_<

Think I'd have to spot these in store to make a judgement - it's weird I really like the MHs and Bratzilla ranges but these guys somehow seem ...off. And I really can't put my finger on what it is!

The eyes aren't as big as Monsters and Bratzillas. I'd like to see them in person too but I'm quite sure I'd pass. Wouldn't mind if I knew someone with a guy and girl I could measure of my records tho...

I want a few to at least hybrid cuz the bodies are unique.

I think the EAH dolls will be available in other stores come this fall. So hopefully you can find them in stores besides Justice and at a better price eventually. I love Raven's sassy expression. XD I just wish Maddie's smile showed her teeth instead of having roughly the same expression as the other girls. She's too quirky to have such a straight-lipped expression. =/ I need to stop watching the webisodes. XD

remember, justice jacks up the prices of everything by 40% so the 40% sales they have seem better.

There was an additional sale, so I paid $17.28 per doll. I've had to pay more than that for an MH girl up here so I think it was a good price.

I will probably wait to see the others in person before I buy any more, but I do like Apple. Just not her name. Makes me think of stupid names celebs like to give to their offspring. I may have to re-name her altho in my heart, I know Snow's daughter is named Emma Swan!

I really do want some of these (the Goldilocks particularly) but waiting to see them in person. Raven really reminds me of a friend too for some reason.
