Sooooooo...My Hubby and I were at Walmart and tucked into a little corner of the doll section we found some new Pinkie Cooper dolls. I had no idea that Walmart was going to carry them. I have been uber curious about these guys. So I brought one home to play. I thought you guys would like some photos to see what she is like.

This is her right out of the box

Here she is without her "Hair Ears"

And here she is nude to show off her articulation and nice body blushing.

And last, but not least. Here she is with a new outfit and her "Hair Ears" marker-ed up to get rid of that glue look.

As you can see she has little articulation, but she is just oozing charm. I like her body blushing and her sweet face. I hate that her legs only have a one click joint and no waist movement. I do think that this line has potential.

I might get myself one now. How do the hair ears work?

They just plug into her head. On either side of her head, she has a little hole that each "hair ear" plugs into. The "hair ear" is interchangeable for colors and swappable between other Pinkie Cooper dolls.

These dolls remind me of old cartoons, or maybe Chinese illustrations? It's the body blush and big eyes, I think. I don't think I would get one myself, but I love the idea that someone sat down and worked out this design for a cute dog-girl with hair for ears. (toyboxphilosopher did a review of them last month: http://www.toyboxphilosopher.com/2013/07/pinkie-cooper-by-bridge-direct.html)

Normally I don't much care for the anthro dolls, but this one is rather cute. Not so much I plan to seek one out... but enough to where if I found one at a yardsale I might consider bringing it home. :)

Found myself the Pinkie Cooper in Paris set - for the same price as the basic dolls!

Darn they're even cuter in person! And the inset eyes are ripe for modding methinks! Though I think I'll keep this one as is - she's so cute! It's weird I'd have thought I'd hate the lack of articulation - but somehow it adds to the appeal.

And the pets are surprisingly big, I'm not convinced they're worth £10 by themselves but they're far more than the accessory that the MH pets tend to be

Edit:  Ok how did I find this doll for £14??? Just amazoned/ebayed/argosed them the RRP for the basic is £15 and the paris £25 and of course on the internet the starting price for any of them is about £30... Methinks there was a price tag mixup in the store!

Looks like the Price Tag Gods were with you. :)
Since I'm on a bit of a doll shoe trip at the moment, I'm curious how big their feet are and whether any other dolls might be able to share their shoes?
