Once upon a zombie dolls

Postby Siead » Sun Nov 10, 2013 7:28 pm

ok, this popped up on a thinkgeek flyer in my email and i had to share.

http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/1461/? ... image_1461

mock- "princesses" that are zombieish. they're articulated, have glass eyes and eyelashes too apparently (looks like both painted and half-lashes from the images but hard to tell.

anyway, figured i'd share for those that like the creepier dolls.

Y'know those are kind of fun looking - not that I'll buy one any time soon. I like the fact that they have real eyes - nice touch! Differentiates them from all the monster high knockoffs out there.

I just ordered one of those actually. I'm not sure about the whole "zombified disney princess" angle, but I like the design of the bodies, particularly their grabby zombie hands. Probably the most interesting MH-inspired line I've seem so far. I just hope I don't get one with wonky eyes...

They are more Frankensteined than Zombied if you ask me.

I think they're a mix of a bit of everything, really.

............... Is everyone going to think I'm insane if I say I think they're kind of cute? I mean, they're very mild, even more mild than some of the MH line (I'm thinking of Frankie's running gag where her limbs fly off). They look gorgeously made too. I also love the "Do Not Attempt To Rescue" tagline. XDDD I almost read it as "Do No Attempt To Resuscitate". (I need to get out of freaking emergency rooms. <_<)

Damn, if my money weren't already accounted for I'd probably pick one of these gals up!!

Zombie Belle arrived yesterday! She's kind of inbetween Monster High and Living Dead Dolls in terms of looks. Great zombie hands, long arms. Short legs with big, un-princesslike feet that don't fit in any shoes. They're a bit flexible too, so it's a good thing she comes with a stand. I love her hair, even though it's a bit frizzy. Her molded underwear are really thick for some reason.

LOVE the picspam Anderson'sAllPurpose!! Belle is sooo gorgeous!! That flaming red hair!!! I'm really tempted!! Do you uh....mind taking a picture of the moulded underwear though? I'm really curious as to why zombie ladies need their pantybits so thick and indestructible. XDD (I'm wondering if it will hamper kitbashing honestly.)

Thank you for the first pics of this awesome collection!!! I think Belle is going on a waiting list. :)

Sorry, I had to wait for daylight. This is her between MH Ghoulia and a Twilight Teens for comparison. They're like an extra edge sticking out above the hip sockets. You could probably sand them down, though.
