Medicom Saber Has Arrived! [IMG Heavy]

Our new girl is here! :D

Medicom did an amazing job on her.

She looks just like she does in the shows/visual novels. Her face-plate and hair system is great. The expressions are really nice, and very Saber, and even the happy plate looks good (it was my least favorite pre-release). She comes with lots of extra hands (a staple for Medicom), and her barehands are adorable. They've even been blushed, which was a nice touch.

Excalibur and her sheath Avalon are gorgeous, and are really sturdy. Her armor shines really nicely.

Before she had released, I had heard that they had completely redesigned their bodies, but it looks like maybe only the male bodies have gotten updated (will have to see when Link releases next year).
This is our first Medicom female, and we didn't really care for the torso. It's got a great range of movement, but it looks so unnatural without clothes on when you bend it (main complaint about all those seamless bodies). It also feels a lot different than the Obitsu soft-bust.
Fortunately, she's proportioned almost identically to the 27cm hard-bust Obitsu, at least in the torso. So, crafty Hubby transplanted the Medicom limbs onto an Obitsu white torso. The skin-tone match is really nice too, the Medicom parts are just a little yellower than the Obitsu. (Next pics have blur because I don't want to violate any TOS at my host)

The Medicom arms are quite a bit stockier than the Obitsu arms, but it doesn't look that bad to us. We left her arm spacers in because of her sleeves and the fact the lower arms don't fit snug up to the joint without them. The legs, however, look much better without the extender (Saber's supposed to be kinda short). Her knees are really pretty, and they're double-jointed!
Image
Image
Her Obitsu pelvis had to be sanded down a bit to allow full range of movement for the bigger Medicom hips, but now she can do full side splits and sit flat on her butt with her legs straight out.
Image
Here's all the extra stuff she came with. And her original torso. I forgot to take any pics of her with her swirly Excalibur, but that's it at the top. It's supposed to be invisible when she wields it, but that's kinda tough to replicate. The frosted and clear blade looks really nice.

And now, here's some pics of nakey Saber in her armor! :D Is it wrong to say I like posing her in her in just her armor?

Pretty.

Oh headsup! Her blue outfit looks similar to the quality of my Chun Li. Be careful with the yellow lining since mine turned brown.

Thanks! And thank you for the headsup, we'll keep a watch on it.

Oh, I remember seeing a review of medi-Chun, and I'm pretty sure her body uses the same internal armature as the body that Saber came on. If you ever need any spare or replacement pieces for your medi-Chun Li, We'd be more than happy to send it to you! :) The hip piece and the neck peg have been removed, but the rest of it is intact.

Thanks.
She held up well so far. I'm just keeping an eye out for a body that is between Obi27 and BBI Amazon in size
