Grell Sutcliff Groove Pullip vs 27cm Slim Male Obitsu help?

Hey my fellow dollieh lovers. I'm in a bit of a situation here. I've been trying to figure out if the Groove Pullip (1/6 scale, seen here: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/5504 ) Grell Sutcliff's outfit will fit your standard 27cm Slim Male Obitsu body. I'm wondering if I should extend my Kuroshitsuji customs to Grell and William as well, but Grell's outfit would be a definite custom job, and seeing what went into my Alois' costume (the seamstress was a complete sweetheart and took me through the entire process), I'm hesitant to get into such a big project again, especially because I'm trying to save some money aside for some more customs. :) So....does anyone know if these two are compatible, and what kind of fit I'm looking at? Like, is it a "Yes but it will be like wearing a skin tight diving suit on your doll" or are they semi-compatible? I already know the feet are a no-go, and that I'll need to find...man-heels or something. I'm asking more the clothing itself.

I'll stop rambling now!

Grel was made on a *female* pullip body so the best that'll fit would be a female 27cm Obitsu rather than a male one.

I know he/she/I'm totally not getting into the gender pronoun war with this character was put on the female doll, but you're saying technically a 27cm body would fit, regardless of gender? :)

No, I'm just saying the 27cm FEMALE body is much thinner than the male one, at least in the Obitsu line so you can't put a pullip's outfit on an obitsu male body, at least without major alterations heh.

The difference between Obitsu boys and girls. Only the 23 and 21 cm might be able to share clothes.

I'm still a bit confused here. So basically, Grell is on a 27cm female Obitsu body? Or does Pullip make it's own brand of bodies? And the big busted 27cm Obitsu female looks like she could share some clothes with her slim male partner there (maybe a bit of a tight fit though). But I'm getting the feeling that it's basically "Have it custom made." Am I correct? X3;;

Also, Dollykim thank you so much for the photo reference!! Sorry I forgot to thank you before!! And Kd_Bunchanumbers thank you for answering these questions!! Do you own the Grell doll, or are you speaking from general Pullip experience? :)

The girls can wear the Slim's clothes but he can't wear any of theirs. I've measured and made clothes for them and the difference in waist and body shape is more than it looks. Aside from breast/bust size the 27cm girls are basically the same.

I don't have any Pullips but from what I've seen they have their own bodies. If you want any guy to wear girl's clothes, outside of the Volks EBC and EBN which won't support Pullip heads, you'll need to have them made.

Thanks for the info Dollykim! I guess Grell and Will are getting put on the backburner for now. Ah well, I'm hip deep in custom problems at the moment, why make it worse? The Sebastian doll will always be there when I finally decide if and when to do it. Besides, I'm trying to branch out with my customs anyway. :D Thank you as always for being so informative Dollykim, it means a lot!! And thank you to Kd_Bunchanumbers too for reminding me of the female/male body difference, which obviously does pose a much larger problem than I thought.

This is why Obitsu SERIOUSLY needs to fill the gap that Volk's EB-N/EB-C left. There's just nothing like it available. I mean, you could try and get a hold of an old body (might fit the stock? Maybe?) but the stiffness of the Obitsu joints is way better for the heavy head.
(I actually WROTE Obitsu at one point and asked about a thinner man body but I don't know if they actually read it...)
