So as most of you probably know already, the Southeast got a rare blessing of snow a couple days ago (that turned into a nightmare because no one here knew how to react to it). Of course, my first reaction was o jump my sorry ass out and get pics because etgjtiuyh. Here is some of what transpired


I've brought Ghinius out in every snow we've had since I first got him and have no intentions of stopping now.





CAT VS. SNOW: THE TRILLING SAGA. This was based on something that happened a few years ago when we let one of the cats out in the snow for the first time and she proceeded to flip out, yowling and trying to make it so as few feet were on the ground as possible. It was hilarious and I realllly wish we'd recorded it. But alas, all we have is memories and Taka's homage to it here.

More Ghinius nonsense that started out semi-serious and ended decidedly not. I have no idea why he hasn't killed me yet.

AndroidRaptor....I am so surprised all those clothes aren't ruined. Also, pffffft, you Southerners. XDD I heard a bunch of towns were closed down and stuff. Up here we got around four feet of snow within the last couple weeks (it JUST broke above freezing today and for the last week it's been especially cold, hovering around the single digits with negative degree windchill) and nobody cares, city officials are all like "Drive your car, kill yourself, we don't give a crap, we go through this every winter." And of course I had to go to the Emergency room during this time and it was literally packed with stupid idiots who don't know how to navigate in the snow, plus no less than four emergency helicopters landed while I was there.

BUT ANYWAY BACK TO PICTURES.

That one picture looks like they're in a hot spring. Good thing they have no danglies to shrivel. Brrrr. Talk about the polar plunge. (....That was not not unintentional sexual innuendo even though that's totally what it sounds like ) Mind if I ask what the face sculpts for these two are? (And who are they? ) I aways have a hard time recognizing a base head when they're rocking a good faceup. (Plus one only has hair I can look at. *Fail*)

CATS IN SNOW. Oh GOD. Had that experience. Our cat decided he HAD to see outside, so we plopped him out the front door and it was like watching someone try and walk on hot coals. Hilarity ensued. I'd say Taka is doing a pretty good rendition of how they react. Except needs some more spring-boarding off of the side of the house.

The second to last picture looks gorgeous. Very atmospheric. Also, that last picture....XD. It makes it look like a parody of some sort of serious anime where the guy is trying to walk all purposeful towards the "camera" and then just *SPLAT*.

But yeah the two in the "hot spring pic" are both Obitsu W02 head on a pale female and fleshtone male body respectively. I was actually trying to recreate a scene from the anime those two characters are from. It's not a hentai. I swear! BTWs, they're supposed to be Aina Sakhalin and Shiro Amada from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (most of my dolls are Gundamns hurr).

AND YEAH, CATS IN SNOW. Magical shapeshifting or not, I get the feeling they'd do much the same thing, especially when they're from an area that doesn't get snow.

I think the first of those last two pics looks like he's lost in the woods or something (which wouldn't end well for him, trust me). The snow splat was just me being silly and I'm amazed he hasn't killed me yet for it.

Yeah, an 08th rewatch is good for background noise if nothing else. I wouldn't doubt Ghinius wants to go elsewhere given all the crap I put him through, but he's stuck with me Besides I'm pretty sure no one loves him more than I do anyway.

Android raptor, I gotta ask, do you do your own faceups? I always see the Obitsu W02 face and go "...ehhhhh" (There is only ONE character who it happens to be perfect for so far) but then I see people like, say, YOU, who manage to make both male and female faces out of that headsculpt and make it look freaking amazing. (Also, closeup shots are always appreciated? *HinthintnudgenudgeWHAMWHAM*)

Also, what facesculpt is Ghinius rockin? (I take it that's a full reroot too? *Faints just from thinking of the amount of work*)

Thanks! I don't think I have any close ups of Shiro (the guy)on hand at the moment, but I have plenty of Aina. Here, here (with another W02 and a W03 girl and here are two though I can post more if you want.

As for Ghinius, I didn't do his faceup. He and my marrone brown girl's faceup weren't done by me (though all my other customs were). He's a W03 and was actually a prerooted head (though I filled many spots in with the excess I cut off since it was thin).
