waiting waiting how do you pass the time?

Postby animeangel09189 » Tue Dec 27, 2011 6:17 pm

Well My mom just ordered my Dollzone annie from Denver doll and now I must wait 2-3 months this is going to be hard
so what do you do while you wait? (and I'm sorry if there is a "waiting room" topic some where I couldn't find it if there is)

EDIT: Oh and if anyone can tell me how much is shipping and handling for denver doll when it comes to a MSD sized doll I'd be grateful since both me and my mom would like to know

Buy wigs, eyes, shoes? Make her some clothes if you can? Build her a room, a bed, a sofa?

What I do when a doll is incoming: create a folder on my laptop with ALL the pictures I can find of that sculpt, just to gush over every day till the doll is with me lol.

Yay I'm not the only one who photo hunts while dolls are incoming! :P

1. Squee.
2. Do a mad chicken-like dance.
3. Randomly roll on the ground.
4. Eat stuff.
5. Repeat.
Doing these steps like a boss is optional, but will make the wait more awsome. And also likely to get people to stare at you...

try to convince myself that I don't need to buy ANOTHER doll that is in stock and will temporarily fullfill my need to have a new doll while waiting for the one that I ordered that I know I have to wait for.

Yep, that's how I end up with things like Moxie Teens and and a Monster High doll....temporary distractions :)

What I'm doing to stem the wait for my new doll.

1. Planning his wardrobe.

2. Plotting to clear off my second shelf and create another studio AKA dorm room for the dolliehs. Len's getting a big bed. (I'm gonna make him some pillows and they'll have to share the blanket they all have.)

3. Pace.

4. Stare at pictures.

5. Watch box openings.

6. Lose the game. (You just lost the game.)

Oh also, since I already own dolls now, I usually take lots of photos and spend time with the dolls that I already have so that I can still have dolliehs on the brain while I wait!

I wonder what the new doll's personality will be and how they'll interact with the other dolls, but mostly I just on with life. If I can't stand the wait I'll make clothes and things for them to play with, and look at other people's own pics.
