I think the problem in the hoof area, that someone else mentioned and that bugs me too, is that they look sort of "shoved forward" as if she has some kind of collapsed fetlock condition on all four of her legs. I'm sure it's just stylistic sculpting, but it does make me think of injured horses.

I'd really like to see what people do with this doll. I agree that it looks more like a deer than a centaur. But dear god she's so pretty.

Looks neat, but I do not want.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Aside from the size (huge, compared to real deer hooves) the positioning is realistic.

So how far forward the hoof is? I know why they made the hooves that big. Stability.

I think that with the right face up, any sculpt can be darling. though, that bottom lip bothers me. I think I would actually sad it smoother on the underside for a more portional lip. It juts out too much for my tastes.

Those large eyes are adorable though and could look really flattering with the right eye make up...o.O eye face up? lol...eye detailing lets go with that one.

As for the body, I adore the detailing on the hooves. She has a sort of bull like cloven foot quality that works for me.

I'm not that thrilled about her face, but I love love LOVE that centaur body! I really do think there needs to be more centaur dolls of all sizes out there.

To me, she looks more like she was stylized after a reindeer, with the shorter, less delicate legs, the longer tail and even in the shape of the horns. See how the hooves do come forward more than on a North American deer?

Also, yes. That is a small child on a full grown Mongolian Reindeer.

And while the reindeer doesn't have hairy hooves, the rest of it is pretty furry, so I could totally see taking artistic lisence to show that furriness on the hooves instead of the chest region.

Thought of her being a reindeer somehow made her more appealing.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

I wanna ride a reindeer, too!

Anyways, despite the weirdness of her hairy legs, I quite like Trista... except for the face >_<
