-squeal- Don't you just love the Annie sculpt? She's so beautiful and that little button nose just made me fall in love.

Yes I do! my mom says she doesn't like that she looks sad but I like that since she doesn't hav to look sad depending on the lighting and such
I have a question is that new resin smell toxic? because I just smelled her knee joint (I was looking over the resin) and sniff and then "okgjdjnfjsk Am I going to die?" My first BJD so I'm a little paranoid (also with all this talk about recasting and the fact that when I opend the head cap there was a big wiff of new resin smell and the magnets in her head look sloppy put in no big deal but yeah kinda parnoid the doll will kill me via smell)

It could be that that she's still curing. Most of my fresh-from-the-factory dolls had a resin smell for a few days after arrival, but it faded within a week. My Annie's magnets were a little wonky but it doesn't effect the function of them. If, by chance, one does fall out, just use a little superglue or hot glue and put it back in, but make sure you have the polarity right.

Edit: meant to say, not all Annie's look sad. Mine looks haughty. XD I can't wait to see pictures of her, all dressed. :)

Okay good and yeah I just made her a pair of pants out of an old pair of mine and my mom gave her a sock dress I actually love the combination makes her look punk its cool I need to wash them first http://requiemart.com/blog/repair-tutor ... r-fasting/ this would be the proper color fast solution to use as well right?

also would a yellow ballon (to use as a wig cap) stain her? the wig is the right size but it slips off really easily (it was funny I was thinking "I can't bealive 'm going to need a how to on how to put on a wig")

I don't know much about the color setting, so I'll leave that to someone who knows more on the subject.

Your best bet is a white balloon. I don't know if a yellow one would stain or not.

Tabatha is a lovely name and it looks like it really suits her. A non-colored rubberband wrapped around the head cap will also help keep the wig in place if you don't have a wig cap. This actually works better on most of my dolls, since they tend to have unusually shaped heads and the wig caps don't fit them right. I know that colored rubberbands can stain so I imagine that a colored balloon would have the same problem, although I don't know for sure.

Thank you actually I have a question she seems to be tightly strung is that bad for the doll? (like she seems to be kinky and her arm while being held to the side will sometime go behind her back in an awkward pose* awkward but not in a way it shouldn't go if that makes sense*) My mom is dead set against me restringing her and I don't blame my mom yet at the same time I don't want my doll ruined when I've only had her for two days XD

My Dollzone boy also came tightly strung and I left him like that for months before it bothered me enough to restring him. I've only heard of a doll being too tightly strung to the point of causing damage once and that was entirely owner inflicted. If that's the way the company strung her, it shouldn't hurt the resin, it'll just be a bit annoying but over time the elastic will loosen on it's own. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ah okay thank you I wasn't sure (no matter how much you research there will always be one or two things that take hands on ownership to know this is one of them)
