For the record I BRIEFLY had a Pixie (NOT Pixiu, which is the little dragon everyone adores) and she looks exactly the same in person as she does in the factory photos. If you like the big-eye Blythe/Pullip look, then Pixie may be for you. She looked absolutely out of place with my crew.

I can only add that they are fantastic dolls. I have two straight up Bobobie dolls and four Resinsoul. And yes...check owner pics because they are usually way better than the pics on the site.

And faceups, wigs, and clothes can totally change the look. BBB default faceups are fine... but very... gray...

Riou fresh out of the box. (BBB Espree boy)

Riou with Kiki-chan78 custom faceup (I was asked if he was a Volks from this picture!)

Riou at DollAKon in his wedding clothes (he's on a stand, I said before I don't trust him to stand on his own)

They really are great dolls, very versatile and with a little help (restringing and sueding) they are decent posers. I think Riou is the most beautiful of my dolls. ^__^

figured i would add to the questions: has anyone here have or seen the Rong immature body? i want the double jointed one but the regular body's a bit to stacked for the character. is the immature body really kid-like or could it pass as a small-busted adult?

I have both the Resinsoul immature bust (which is actually the Li body, not Rong, though really, the only difference is the bust; all the limbs are the same) and a mature bust. The immature bust can pass for a small chested adult, because it has the same curvy hips as the mature bust body, but there is a certain childishness to it.

I have to agree. The bbb dolls are cute. I have a bbb sprite - she is kind of floppy, but it makes it easier to dress her, and the body is not as shapely as the resinsoul dolls. I am waiting for a RS An. On the 1/3 scale I have 2 resinsoul dolls - the Dai and the Gang. I love them all.
