THANK YOU! i'm going to do that as soon as i can afford the supplies 8D

and i was really hoping nail polish would have somehow been ok.... even though i knew it really probably wasn't lol it would have been a lot easier.

If you can get them, I really like Golden acrylics. I've also got some Liquitex (I found it in my basement...), but it's way thicker, so you'd need to thin it more than the Golden.
Just a tip, if you go to an art supply store and say you're a beginner at painting and are looking for acrylics and things, they might be really helpful. The lady at my local art supply store basically said "Well, a doll is small right? So if you take these samples, you should be set for a while!" She gave me free stuff! So nice <3

Art store people are usually really quick to help you if you say you're starting out. They're great for tips for faceups, too, if you need someone to explain how to get a really tiny line, they're often better than a forum, because they can show you.
