I love the fish!
How did you form the shape for the mugs? When I get Sculpey soft enough to work with, it usually is too soft to make a tiny, precise shape like that...

Thanks kurosu! If you'd like, I can make a tutorial when I have some time to make another one and show you how to make them. :)

Can you tell me what you do to 'condition' (soften up) your Sculpey? Maybe there's something you're doing that I'm not that's making them too soft for you. Also, please describe the colours you're using. I find that some colours from Sculpey are TERRIBLE to work with (either too soft, too hard, or stains my hands).

I can't really be too specific, since this experience with Sculpey has occurred over several years and many colors. Maybe I just can't make small things? Typically I don't do anything to condition it but knead it (a lot) or sit on it till it's warm enough to work with. I did buy some Sculpey softener to try to revive an old brick that I'd barely used, but I couldn't add enough (or work it enough) to make it soft enough to use, so I'll have to throw the brick away...

Hmm... I really don't see anything that you're doing 'wrong', so I'm not sure. I pretty much do the exact same things: warm it up a bit, knead it, and add softener if it's still too hard. =S

Maybe you're just more patient than me. I always have a hard time getting it smooth and presentable...
